We pair Nicaraguan Opayo cacao, for it’s inherent coffee notes, with Kenyan coffee, for its berry + caramel notes: washed SL28 and SL34 varietals, farmed by Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, processed at the Kii factory, traded and toasted by Rabbit Hole.

To craft this bar, we source the cacao beans from Ingemann Fine Cocoa in Nicaragua via MABCO. We pay the farmers premium prices in an effort to adequately compensate farmer’s labour, support local infrastructure, and encourage sustainable growth.
