We pair Nicaraguan Opayo cacao, for it’s inherent coffee notes, with Salvadorean coffee, for it’s pineapple~toffee & oral notes: a natural Pacamara, grown in the tropical hills of Ahuachapan, produced by the acclaimed Pacas family in Santa Maria, directly traded and roasted by Pilot Coffee.

To craft this bar, we source the cacao beans from Ingemann Fine Cocoa in Nicaragua via MABCO. We pay the farmers premium prices in an effort to adequately compensate farmer’s labour, support local infrastructure, and encourage sustainable growth.
